The end.-

Wow, I can’t believe it, the semester is ending... How did the time pass so faster?
Well, well, well... about my experience as a blogger I can say that it was very interesting. I never had done it before.. I mean to write in a blog for a class. I used to have a blog but it was personal. In there, my feelings was expressed in poems, short stories, pictures... that kind of stuffs.
I think that it was a really good idea, very innovative. In general, I enjoyed to write every week a new topic for the blog, but in many cases I had problems to make it for time’s limits (I can’t stay Monday’s class and for that, I can’t write the blog inmediately) so, sometimes it becomes in another homework to do in the biggest “Pending’s thing list”.
I believe that blog’s homeworks helped me to improve my english. I think that with the time, my english became better (a little at least jajajja).

The blog had many positives things, for example you can contact to your classmates and read their texts, to give your opinion about it, to express your ideas, to improve your english, to be creative (in your expressions and in the decoration’s blog).
About the “negatives” things, I can mention: blog takes time to write (and I learned how important every single second is in the university’s life ajajajaja), in many cases I felt a little dissapoinment with me because I made a lot of writing’s mistakes (but I tried to use it how a form to learning and it doesn’t make it again).
Just two “negatives” things... almost nothing ajajajja.

But, seriously, I really enjoyed to write the blog. It was the most fun thing that we made it in the semester (please, you don’t misunderstand me, I’m not despising the rest of activities; it just I like this one more than the others).

My ideal job *___*

Definitively this semester has been really hard, uff! ...

Well, today I’m talking about my ideal job. This is to be a psychologist, I’m completely sure.

Not for nothing I decided to study this. I did it because it is what I love to do. (I mean, I like to analyze pleople).

I can’t imagine me doing another thing (it was so much difficult for me to find a profession and when I did it, I realized that it is the only thing that I can do better.

Obviously, the principal skills and qualities for that job are: to inspired confidence to pacient, to have the capacity to listen people, to have patience, to have knowledge about differents psychological theories, to have finalized the career, to be motivated and always believe that any problem can be result.

I think that I would be good in this job because I have many of the principal skills and qualities (I think that the aspect I need to promote is theories’s knowledge, because I know about it but only superficially).

I like to work in a public medical center, principally; because there I could have more contact with different kind of people, problems and situations (just a little population’s part can pay a psychologist in a private medical center or in a private consultation).

I think that it wouldn't be very difficult to find a job in this area (clinical psychology) because with pass of time, it is more necessary the psychological council (the world every time becomes more confuse and complicated). And my aunt (she is obstetrician) works in a public medical center and she said to me that she could get my a job when I finish my career (I hate to talk about the typical "pituto", but I think that is it useful for the first years).

My favourite subject

Hi! Today I'm going to talk about my favourite subject. It is called "Psychology"... yeah, I know, the name isn't very creative. This subject is a kind of introduction about many things, for example, we can learn about the perception, personality, psychology's history, motivation, life's development, etc. The teacher's name is Juan Enrique Wilson, and he is the best ! He teachs in a way that is so easy to learn and he has a enormous hability to explain the contents. The principal material that we use is a book that it is called "Psychology and life"; and it is a kind of bible for us because it contains all the basic information that a student has to know about psychology. Every class, teacher made a test about one of the book's chapter; this mean that we have to study every week.

I like because it is one of the few subjects that are related directly with my carrer. The another subjects, for example, history, philosophy... aren`t very related and I used to study in the school. "Psychology " is something new for me and completely interesting.

Today I'm going to make a review about a video of the website www.ted.com .

The video showed a man called: Ken Robinson. He is a creativity expert and in the video he talks about if the schools kill creativity or not.

Well, he said that in every school of the earth what teachers has been taught are things related with the modern life: the industrialism, the growing population, etc. Things that are useful to promote this life style: so faster and "pragmatic" and for that, the artistic disciplines haven't a piece of space in this uncontrollable world.

Be creative involve to make mistakes sometimes, but teachers don’t accept it so kids can’t be creative. With the time, we are losing the capacity for be creative, so when we grow up and we became adults, we are just another person without any prospect or new idea: we just put our attention in the job and produce more and more even when this doesn’t matter us (it is so boring do things just because we must do!).
So we have to change our educational system that only promove hierarchy in subjects; because the art is so much important as cience, literature, mathematics, etc. And we have to respect the different kind of intelligences that kids have because its developments can be promove in many areas, one of them, the artistic area.

People are different, and we have to accept it. Be an artist isn’t means to be a useless person. It just means, be a different person but with the same importance than any other.

My future

For today, I’m going to talk about my future.
I think that in the future I will be a professional Psychologist that will be working in a hospital or a psychological center.
I don’t think that I will have my personal consultation for that moment because first, I’ll need to take some experience with partners of discipline, to adapt to the system, etc.
In my personal life I’m not really sure what I’ll be doing. I think that I won´t be married because I’m going to be very young yet: just twenty three years old ! (and of course, I won’t have kids neither).
I suppose that I’ll have a little department (I don’t know where and I don’t care for now), what it’ll be paid by me. I think (and I hope so) that I’ll be a independent woman, with my money, stuffs, car, department, and my life.
I expect to know somebody who I can start a nice relationship because I adore be in love ajajaja, but principally, because I would like to start a serious relationship with a young, professional and serious guy, without the complications of the university (I know that work could be worse, but in any case it’ll be a different experience).
Also, I would like to travel to europe and EEUU for my vacations if it is possible because I’ve always wanted to. And for last, I’ll continue studying about my discipline, maybe I’ll make a postdegree or something like that. I don’t want to remain behind !

Best in my area

Today I'm going to talk about the best in my area.

It is difficult to decide who is the best because they are many, and every one has contributed with something important for the Psychology.

But I decided to talk about Freud because he is the psychologist that introduced a fundamental concept in Psychology: the unconscious. Before his studies, the psychologists thought that we could accede to our mind only with the reason (the conscious).

Well, Freud was a doctor and a neurologist. He is the founder of Psychoanalysis.

He started his studies using the hypnosis as mental patient's treatment but later, he started to use the "free association" and analysis of dreams, that means that people (patient) have to establish connections between what they dreamed and childhood's lived experiencies (for Freud, the childhood is very important because it determines adult's personality).

Just like I said it before, he introduced a new concept: unconscious. It was taken from Nietzsche, Schopenhauer and Hartmann, but Freud gave it a scientific status.

Their concepts (unconscious, unconscious desires, repression, etc) were totally revolutionaries for his times. He proposes a divided mind in levels: yo, ello and superyo; and a fources conflict between our desires and our reason (what I wanna do and what I must do).

I think that he is important because he finished with the taboos and he treated the sexuality in a different way (it is fundamental for his theory, all energy is a sexual energy).

For all this I think that Freud is the best.

Psychoanalysis

About my career *

Today I’m going to talk about my career:
I’m studying psychology and this is my first year. I like it very much, because everything that the teachers have taught me is totally new and interesting.
I decided to study psychology because It was what I had always wanted, since I was child.
In my infancy I used to think that I could help people with their problems. I had the typical image of the concentrated psychologist (Freud, for example) hearing to the patient that it was lying in the sofa and I expected to become in someone like him.

The professionals of my area can work in clinics, schools, companies, courts... and in many places. In general, psychology can contribute in all kind of stuffs. You can find psichologists in the tv, advertising agencies, etc.
Obviously the kind of contribution depends on the discipline. It isn’t the same talk about clinical psychologists than educational psychologists (clinical is related with individual behaviour and educational with school behaviour... it is a very general definition). But the principal objetive of psychologists is improve the quality of life of people, the relations with themselves, another persons, communities, etc.

The tools that we would need in the future are more technological machinery because they are very necessary for studies related with de brain and behaviour. We could develop a lot of innovative researches.

I have two favourites subjects: psychology and psychobiology, because they are the most related with the career and the matters are things completely news for me (I had never studied something like that).
